During the period of 1857 - 1868 they were in a different location. The bed has a history of ownership at the Houston residence of James Theodore Dudley Wilson, son of Robert Wilson who came to Texas in the 1820's. They are both mentioned in The Handbook of Texas, with J. T. D. Wilson serving as mayor of Houston. |
